About Anthony

May 6, 2005 General

An “about page” is serious stuff. It should be viewed as both a privilege of blogging and also a responsibility.

All responsible bloggers should have at least a cursory “about page” to give you some background about who is writing what you’re reading.

If they don’t offer one, they should be immediately voted off the blogosphere island.

Hi Anthony, what I am reading is very interesting, but does this CV make you a “cynic” ?
Did you really witnessed the terrorist attacks of 9/11 from your window ? It must have been terrible ! And what do you mean “USED to play basketball or baseball” ? Now you probably just WATCH the Knicks, right ?
Well, greetings from another “city cynic” from Europe. My name is Jannis Papadimitriou, Greek-German journalist working, among other things, on my Blog
    http://ideenwerk.blogspot.com ,
where I am trying to collect ideas, new concepts, creative tools and interviews with interesting people.
I would love to receive your remarks and any comments in English or German or Spanish (please, not in Latin !)
And it would be interesting for me to receive some more “citycynic’s” impressions. Currently I am writing to you from Athens, Greece. It’s a quite crazy town, definitely it’s not New York, unfortunately, but I can assure you, we also have millions of citycynics here, after all, cynicism as a philosophical movement is very familiar to the Greeks…

    Bye for now,
    Jannis
