Attorney General Alberto Gonzales resigns

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales resigns: “President Bush on Monday said he reluctantly accepted the resignation of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, whose ‘good name was dragged through the mud for political reasons.’” So Gonzales finally resigns… I guess Bush didn’t watch any of Gonzales’ testimony in front of Congress when he repeatedly stumbled over his own lies regarding the US Attorneys firing scandal. Another Bush appointee, another miserable failure.
