US Troop Death Toll in Iraq reaches 3000: “The death toll for U.S. troops in Iraq reached 3,000 on Sunday with the death of a soldier at a military hospital, the Pentagon reports.” What a terrible way to end 2006. Let’s hope 2007 is a hell of a lot better — for all involved.
