Iraq War surpasses length of World War II
As of Today, Iraq War Is Longer than World War II: 3 years and 8 months later, 2882 American soldiers lost, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians killed, the Iraq insurgency us now financially self-sustaining, and Iraq is in a ‘civil war’. I guess it could be worse — the Vietnam War lasted over a decade…

Dude, read the article(you’ve supplied a link too) and check a history book(or Wikipedia for godsakes). The Iraq war has not run longer than World War II which began September 1, 1939, and ended with Japan’s surrender September 9, 1945. 6 years, and 8 days . We have surpassed the length of time that America was involved in World War II, not the total length of the war. I love it when people skew numbers. Here’s a number for you: 300,000.
That is number that Hussien murdered under his rule. Are American lives the only ones that count?
