Live from New York… it’s Saturday something!

You know Saturday Night Live’s musical guest is relatively unknown when announcer Don Pardo’s opening goes something like this:
DON PARDO: …and Kristen Wiig. Tonight’s musical guest, ……………………….. [silence] ……………………………… [more silence] ……………………….. [awkward silence] …………………………………. And your host, Maaaaaaaaaatt Dillllllllllllon!
Somewhere in there he was supposed to announce the Arctic Monkeys while the band’s SNL-stylized photo was onscreen.
This has got to be the first time no musical guest was announced in the history of SNL.
(Well, except when Britney Spears stopped by to host a couple years ago.)
