Are you ready for some football?

January 15, 2006 Football, Sports, Life

Wow, I’m once again excited about the Superbowl this year!

I just watched what had to be one of the most exciting football games I have ever seen — the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indiana Colts. The Steelers won 21-18 after more twists, turns, and fourth-down conversions than the world’s loopiest rollercoaster!

And Jerome Bettis’ only fumble of the year almost cost the team the season!

I have to tell you, I was really feeling down after the Giants collapsed in their first-round playoff matchup, but after watching a game like this, there’s no way I can’t be excited! Superbowl XXXL, here we come!

Read something on SI.com about how that one doubtful call towards the end of the game (I forget who the player was that made it - but it was the interception w/ a tuck-n-roll kind of landing and then a fumble with him recovering his own lost ball) - anyways, the NFL supposedly admitted that it was a bad call and that the interception should’ve been valid.

But yeah, anyways, the game was fantastic - I only half-watched the end of it, but it was pretty damn fun (I went to school in Pittsburhg - and I applaud the yellow and black color theme you’ve chosen for your site ;) ;))

We’ll see how the Superbowl turns out.. I mean you can’t go wrong there either cause you know the commercials will be fun again w/ another dotcom bubble forming. :)
