Britney Spears is Pregnant

How did I miss this story? Looks like Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline have been collaborating on something since getting married — creating a child! Britney is apparently three months pregnant.
And I had money on pop rival Christina Aguilera winning the baby contest. Too bad.
The 23-year-old singer is three-months pregnant, according to sources close to the couple, and an official announcement confirming the happy news is expected to be released this weekend.
Sources say Britney has canceled all her future work engagements and is busy preparing for her new job - motherhood - when the baby arrives this fall.
Well, congratulations are in order …that’s two celebrity baby mommas on Federline’s resume. Nice job, dawg.
UPDATE: Apparently, this was just a rumor, according to Britney. On her website she lambasted the tabloids in a weird rant about tabloids hiring truthful employees. Too bad, this would have been a good April Fools’ Day story, too.
DOUBLE UPDATE (4/12): Turns out the stories were right. Britney is a liar (and pregnant).

personally i think that britney should have waited and should be a better role model for her sister. she is only 14 and already looking like a tramp-following in her footsteps. plus, i think her family is just a bunch of hicks anyway. isn’t that what they do, shack up and have kids?

i don’t think britney needs a college education with all the money she has. she already has a career that is much better paid than all college graduate type careers and why shouldn’t she have a baby now she is young and thats the right time to have a baby and she can definently afford it!

hey— Britney is not a slut or anything else… everyone is hating on her because she is sexy and everyone wants to be like her. She has been a good role model for her sister for 15 years. She is 23- years-old and as long as she is respondible. she will make a good mom I THINK!!

Personally, I think that maybe it wasn’t a great career move on her part as far as timing goes, but if that’s her choice then so be it. At least she can provide for her child. I know from personal experience that money would mak raising a child a lot easier. And at least she’s married her sister will dress as she likes regardless what britney does.
