Sports stars as TV guest stars

Did anyone else notice U.S. Olympic Figure Skating gold medalist Tara Lipinski guest-starring on CBS’ Still Standing tonight?
She was actually so good as an actress that, besides looking familiar, I didn’t even realize who she was until half-way through the episode.
And believe me, I’m not just saying that. I’ve seen many professional athletes guest star on TV and all of the football and basketball and baseball players put together (with apologies to Hall-of-Famer Keith Hernandez) weren’t as believable combined as Lipinski on Still Standing.
That being said — she was playing the role of a teenager, which, I must assume comes naturally to her.
Speaking of guest stars, as I was thinking about Lipinski’s TV show debut, who else did I see guest starring, but former Full House father Bob Saget on Jason Alexander’s Listen Up. Now that was a blast from the past!
